Lucki, the rapper, has made the tough decision to cancel the remainder of his Canadian tour due to an unexpected illness. He conveyed the news via a statement on his Instagram Story on Monday, following his absence from a scheduled concert in Calgary on Sunday night.
In his Instagram post, Lucki expressed his sincere apologies to his fans in Calgary and announced the postponement or cancellation of his upcoming shows in Edmonton and Vancouver due to his health condition. He reassured fans that refunds would be available and promised to return soon to make it up to them.
Following the Calgary concert’s no-show, Cobyn Murphy, a fan in attendance, shared insights into the venue’s atmosphere. Murphy described a sense of anticipation building as the DJ hinted at Lucki’s imminent arrival throughout the performance. However, disappointment set in as the wait prolonged, leading some attendees to express dissatisfaction, with reports of garbage being thrown onto the stage.
Lucki’s cancellation adds to a list of artists altering their schedules due to health issues. Recently, Nicki Minaj also withdrew from a New Orleans concert on her Pink Friday 2 World Tour. As fans await further updates, it’s clear that Lucki prioritizes his well-being and hopes to return to the stage soon.
