A man accused of attempting to break into Taylor Swift’s New York City apartment was apprehended on Saturday, just before the singer’s planned visit to Buffalo to support her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and the Kansas City Chiefs in the NFL playoffs’ divisional round. According to the New York Post, the police received a call regarding a “disorderly person” on Franklin Street in Tribeca.

Upon arriving at the scene, law enforcement was informed that the individual had tried to open a door to a building at the location, as stated by a public information officer to the Post. An eyewitness mentioned, “I first saw him around 1:00 PM — he went up to Taylor’s door. I’m not sure if he knocked or rang the doorbell.”
