Playboi Carti Teases ‘I Am Music’ Album on Instagram Amid Ongoing Rollout

Playboi Carti is keeping the anticipation high for his forthcoming album, “I Am Music,” as he once again teased the project on Instagram this Sunday. Sharing a graphic with the album title, a motif he has repeatedly posted in recent weeks, Carti continues the promotional streak as he steadily releases singles leading up to the album’s debut.

Over the past few months, Carti has unveiled a series of tracks, including “EvilJ0rdan,” “Backr00ms,” and “2024,” among others. In a conversation with Numéro Berlin in November, Carti revealed that he spent three months recording the project in Paris.

“I’ve been recording in Paris, I love Paris. Amazing,” he shared with the outlet. “I was recording, in a cave, for like three months, and all the music that came out of that is just chaotic and crazy.”

Carti’s upcoming album, “I Am Music,” marks his first full-length release since his 2020 album, “Whole Lotta Red,” which debuted at the top of the US Billboard 200. Featuring collaborations with Kid Cudi, Future, and Kanye West, the album garnered widespread acclaim.
