School Director in Luwero Arrested for Alleged Pupil Defilement

The director of Kings Palace Primary School in Luwero, Jona Sebamanya, has been apprehended on suspicion of defiling pupils. According to Regional Police Spokesperson Sam Twiineamaziima, preliminary investigations revealed that the incidents occurred in Kakokolo and Kikubajinja villages between September and October 2023.

Reportedly, on October 25, 2023, the police received a report detailing the alleged defilement of six pupils, aged between 13 and 17, by the suspect. Further investigation and medical reports confirmed the sexual abuse of three pupils, aged 17, 14, and 15, who are all P.7 candidates at Kings Palace Primary School.

Sebamanya is currently detained at Luweero CPS, and authorities are actively pursuing another suspect involved in the case.
