After stirring controversy with her diss track, “Bow Bow Bow (F My Baby Dad),” Sexyy Red has taken a surprising turn by revealing the identity of her unborn child’s father. The revelation came through a now-deleted Instagram post on Thursday (January 11), where the “Pound Town” rapper shared snapshots from a maternity photoshoot featuring herself and an unidentified man, whose face was intentionally blurred. In the caption, she referred to him as her “bd” (baby daddy).

The St. Louis native also shared individual pictures from the same photoshoot, showcasing her heavily pregnant state. This revelation adds a new layer to the artist’s recent public narrative, especially considering the fiery lyrics of her diss track, which included lines like, “Fuck my baby dad, fuck my baby dad, fuck my baby dad/ I’m a fine-ass bitch, I ain’t in the house sad.”

Sexyy Red had previously opened up about her experience concealing her pregnancy while touring with Drake. In a recent interview with Billboard, she detailed the challenges of keeping her pregnancy a secret, including attempts to hide her growing belly and practicing controlled breathing before going on stage. She admitted to initially concealing the pregnancy to maintain privacy but eventually decided to embrace it, stating, “Just forget about it.”

The rising star, known for hits like “SkeeYee,” already has one child born in 2020 and announced her second pregnancy in October. During the same period, she faced criticism for expressing support for former President Donald Trump. On comedian Theo Von’s This Past Weekend podcast, she commented, “I like Trump. Yeah, they support him in the hood. At first, I don’t think people were fucking with him. They thought he was racist, saying little shit against women. But once he started getting Black people out of jail and giving people that free money. Aww baby, we love Trump. We need him back in office. We need him back because, baby, them checks. Them stimulus checks. Trump, we miss you.”
