Swizz Beatz, married to Alicia Keys since 2010, has weighed in on the attention surrounding Usher and Keys’ performance of their hit collaboration “My Boo” at the Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday night (February 11).

Amidst the buzz over Usher’s intimate interaction with Keys during the performance, Swizz took to Instagram to share his thoughts. He emphasized the positive aspects of the show, particularly praising the impressive visual spectacle and celebrating the iconic status of the song.

“Y’all talking about the wrong damn thing !!! y’all don’t see that amazing dress covering the entire stadium,” Swizz wrote. “Tonight’s performance was nothing but amazing with 2 amazing Giants ! Congrats @usher and my love @aliciakeys that song is a classic. We don’t do negative vibes on this side we make history.”

While Swizz expressed appreciation for the performance, reactions from fans varied. Some took a light-hearted approach, joking about the situation, while others, like rapper Boosie Badazz and boxer Gervonta Davis, voiced concerns and demanded an apology from Usher.

Alicia Keys wasn’t the only surprise guest to join Usher during his Super Bowl performance. Ludacris, Lil Jon, H.E.R., and will.i.am also made appearances, contributing to the electric atmosphere of the halftime show.

Usher’s Super Bowl performance marked a high point in a busy week for the artist, who had just released his ninth album, “Coming Home,” featuring an array of collaborations with top artists.
