Tom Ikara Renews Marriage With BUL FC

Goalkeeper Tom Ikara has renewed his employment contract with Uganda Premier league leaders BUL FC.

The custodian has put pen to paper on a two year contract with the Abbey Kikomeko coached side that will keep him at the club until June 2026.

β€œIt has been a privilege to spend almost two years at this club and the chance to continue my career at BUL FC is a genuine honor. Since I arrived here, my career has taken a great path and my progress is clearly visible. Now my future is sorted, all I want is to help this team achieve and win trophies that we can win, together.”

β€œAs one of the goalkeepers here, I surely want to repay the club for all of the care that they have shown me during the good times and the bad, and for all the trust they have in me, and that means playing well consistently and winning games for the team.”

β€œI truly believe that BUL FC can win whatever there is to win in this country and I am committed to continue working hard to see this becomes a reality.” Ikara told the club website

His stay at BUL FC ends speculation over a possible return to KCCA FC who were interested in his services.

Ikara joined BUL FC in 2022 and has been out of the outstanding performers for the club in the first round of the 2023/24 season keeping six clean sheets in the 13 games.

He has previously featured for Busoga United, KCCA FC before he joined Police FC.
