Turk Responds to B.G.’s Lil Wayne Diss, Acknowledges Clearing the Air “Like a Man”
Since B.G.’s release from prison, the Hot Boys alum has been making strides in the music scene, collaborating with fellow artists and dropping fresh tracks. His latest venture involves teaming up with Finesse2tymes for the new song “Gangstafied.” However, a particular line in the track caught fans off guard as B.G. seemed to throw shade at his Hot Boys collaborator Lil Wayne. He raps, “My n**** Boosie went home and my dawg was steady blowing / My n**** Weezy steady touring but he’s b*tch and it’s showing.”
The diss sparked discussions among fans, leading B.G. to address the situation on Instagram Live. He clarified that he had recently spoken to Lil Wayne, emphasizing that any tension between them is simply “family business.” B.G. emphasized the complexity of the situation, making it evident that despite the diss, he holds deep affection for Weezy.
Now, another member of the Hot Boys, Turk, has entered the fray, expressing his disapproval of the shady line. In a recent interview with Big High TV, Turk shared his perspective, stating, “I think that song is a great song. Everything, man, is cool until the diss come on, y’know what I’m saying? Like me, personally, I don’t feel that was needed, but like B.G. said, we do have a certain way that we talk, and he did come, and he cleared it out like a man.”
Fortunately, Turk seems to be taking a diplomatic stance, indicating that he doesn’t hold B.G.’s “btch” diss against him. This positive response raises hopes for a potential Hot Boys reunion in the future. According to B.G., he is ready to reunite with his groupmates as soon as his restrictions allow. “Sht gon come together man, soon as I’m able to move around, man,” he stated about the reunion this week. “I’mma be the glue to this sh*t, ya heard?”
