Uganda Cranes Squad Gears Up for International Friendly Against Kuwait

The 25-man squad selected for the Uganda Cranes ahead of their international friendly against Kuwait has entered the residential camp. The team is currently stationed at Cranes Paradise Hotel in Kisasi and has already conducted its initial training session at Omondi Stadium, according to an announcement from the country’s football governing body.

The friendly match between the Cranes and Kuwait is scheduled for January 19, 2024, in Cairo, Egypt. The final squad for the journey is anticipated to be announced in the middle of the following week.

Head Coach Put Paul Joseph has summoned a squad comprised exclusively of players from the StarTimes Uganda Premier League. Notably, there are several players in line to earn their first cap for the senior national team.
