Music manager Wack 100 has asserted the existence of footage that allegedly exonerates Tory Lanez in the shooting incident involving Megan Thee Stallion, despite providing no evidence to substantiate his claim. Speaking on Clubhouse on Wednesday (January 31), Wack 100 stated that a video, reportedly taken by an “Asian girl” present on the night of the shooting, has been suppressed in court. He further suggested that this footage is so damaging to Megan Thee Stallion that it could potentially end her career.

Wack 100 asserted, “When the video comes out that the DA tried to suppress, that my legal is now involved in, there will not be no more Megan Thee Stallion.” He claimed that the video captured moments from the incident, following Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez from the time they exited the car.

These claims by Wack 100 appear to run afoul of legal standards, particularly in the state of California. Exculpatory evidence, which supports a defendant’s innocence, must be disclosed by the prosecution. Failure to provide such evidence may constitute prosecutorial misconduct, leading to consequences such as censure, suspension, or disbarment for the prosecutor.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office acknowledges the significance of providing exculpatory information, stating that the failure to do so may violate professional conduct rules and result in reporting to the State Bar.

It’s important to note that there is currently no evidence supporting Wack 100’s claims, and it remains unclear why the Los Angeles County District Attorney would risk professional consequences to convict someone of a crime they may not have committed.
