Billionaire mogul JAY-Z brought together an array of music and sports icons for a star-studded Roc Nation Sports Super Bowl party in Las Vegas, just a week after the cancellation of the revered Roc Nation Brunch, typically held during Grammy Week.

The extravagant party took place at the Poodle Room in the luxurious Fontainebleu Las Vegas hotel, drawing a crowd of notable names from Hov’s music circles. Among the attendees were Fat Joe, E-40, Jermaine Dupri, Ciara, Queen Latifah, Vic Mensa, and Jay’s former Roc-A-Fella artist Memphis Bleek. Sporting luminaries such as Chris Paul, Dez Bryant, Todd Gurley, Russell Wilson, and Shaun White also graced the event, alongside billionaires Jack Dorsey and Michael Rubin.

The Roc Nation Brunch, a Grammy Awards weekend staple since 2011, was unexpectedly cancelled this year, making the Super Bowl party the closest alternative for celebrity networking and festivities. Despite the absence of the renowned brunch, JAY-Z did host a party in Los Angeles, attended by luminaries like Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Odell Beckham Jr., Quavo, and Lil Uzi Vert.

Traditionally held on Grammy Awards weekend, the Roc Nation Brunch had only been cancelled twice before, in 2021 and 2022, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Last year’s event, co-hosted by JAY-Z and Beyoncé at a private mansion in Beverly Hills, saw a star-studded guest list including Mark Wahlberg, DJ Khaled, 2 Chainz, Offset, Tyler, the Creator, Swizz Beatz, Pusha T, Kelly Rowland, and Teyana Taylor. Notably, three of Diddy’s sons attended, although the embattled Bad Boy founder himself was not present.

On Friday (February 9), Roc Nation announced a groundbreaking partnership with Versace, described as a “transformative multi-year partnership” aimed at supporting cause-focused initiatives and sponsoring high-profile events. This partnership includes Versace’s sponsorship of a Super Bowl event on Friday, organized by Roc Nation Sports, the company’s sports management division. Additionally, the collaboration will support the Roc Nation School of Music, Sports & Entertainment at Long Island University, offering programs in entrepreneurship, music technology, sports management, and more. Roc Nation also serves as the NFL’s “live music entertainment strategist” and oversees the Super Bowl halftime event, headlined this year by Usher.
