Jermaine Dupri has sparked excitement among fans by announcing a collaboration with rap and R&B heavyweights Nelly, Ashanti, and Juicy J, although details about the project remain shrouded in mystery.

On Tuesday (November 28), the So So Def boss shared a studio clip featuring the star-studded trio. The video, captured by Ashanti with a front-facing smartphone view, was captioned with the text: “We’re debating how fast you’re supposed to go double Dutch.”

Jermaine Dupri, a longtime figure in Atlanta’s music scene, recently received the Crown Jewel of Excellence from Atlanta’s Black Music & Entertainment Walk of Fame, solidifying his status as Atlanta royalty. In late October, he and Dallas Austin were among seven honorees celebrated at the event.

The induction ceremony was attended by other notable figures, including Lil Wayne, Queen Latifah, Magic Johnson, gospel singer Marvin Sapp, and the late gospel pioneer Mahalia Jackson.

Expressing his gratitude on Twitter, Dupri shared his excitement, stating, “Man!! I just got inducted into the @blackwalkoffame and it feels amazing!! This is Atlanta, this is Black music, and Black entertainment.”

Austin also expressed his appreciation on Instagram, saying, “Today has been amazing! After a long hard month, this is the way to come out of it. Thank you @blackwalkoffame for putting my name in the ground with so many greats!” He extended his thanks to Walk of Fame co-founder Catherine Brewton, calling her “my sister.”
