Police Investigate Fatal Accident of 30-Year-Old Boda Boda Rider in Kabale District

The police in Kabale District have initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the untimely demise of Hillary Muzora, a 30-year-old Boda Boda rider hailing from Bukinda in Rukiga District.

Muzora met a tragic fate in a solo accident involving his red Bajaji Boxer motorcycle with registration number UFA 250L. The incident occurred around 01:50 AM today along the Kabale – Mbarara highway, near Kabale roundabout within Kabale municipality.

Elly Maate, the Kigezi Region Police spokesperson, affirmed the occurrence of the incident and stated that Asp Mucunguzi and the police team promptly visited the scene to conduct an initial investigation.

The lifeless body of the deceased was transported to Kabale Regional Referral Hospital for postmortem procedures and has been identified with the tag Up 5565. Simultaneously, the motorcycle involved in the accident was impounded at the police station, awaiting inspection by the Inspector of Vehicles (IOV) as part of the ongoing investigation.
