Quavo recently made headlines during a concert in Dubai when he invited a fan onto the stage. While such interactions are not uncommon, this particular fan stood out for sporting a Young Thug t-shirt. Quavo, who collaborated with Young Thug on the latter’s album earlier this year and has been an advocate for Thug’s release, celebrated the fan’s choice of attire before sending him back into the crowd.
In the wake of his highly publicized split from Cardi B, Quavo has been making public appearances and stepping out for various events. Despite a brief reunion for Christmas, the couple seems to be heading in different directions. The tension between them came to a head just before the holidays, with Cardi expressing her frustrations in a tearful livestream.

Despite the personal turmoil, Quavo has been making significant appearances recently. He surprised fans at Unruly Fest in Jamaica, joining Popcaan on stage during the latter’s set. The crowd welcomed the former Migos rapper enthusiastically, although not everyone appreciated his choice of attire. Some critics on Instagram commented on the tendency of American artists to dress extravagantly in Jamaica.
However, the festivity took an unexpected turn as the police intervened and shut down Unruly Fest early, citing safety concerns. Senior police officers explained that they had allowed the event to run an hour longer than permitted. Popcaan, who organizes Unruly Fest, expressed disappointment in the abrupt shutdown, stating that incidents like these hinder the progress of places like St. Thomas.
